SERVICES:   County-wide information and referral regarding services for expectant parents, newborns, and toddlers, birth through their third birthday. We provide Early Intervention services for children with developmental delays or who have an eligible medical diagnosis, and Home Visiting services for first time parents (mom or dad) with children under the age of 6 months.

Early Intervention provides:

  • Developmental assessment and evaluations
  • Child developmental information
  • Support to parents through coaching and how to encourage your child
  • Home visits with a primary service provider
  • Assistance in locating community resources
  • Service coordination

Home Visiting Services provides:

  • Home visits
  • Development screenings
  • Child development information
  • Parents as Teachers Curriculum
  • Assistance in locating community resources
  • Service Coordination

ELIGIBILITY:
Early Intervention:

  • Children with an eligible medical diagnosis
  • Children who have eligible developmental delays

Home Visiting:

  • First time parent with child under 6 months of age (or prenatal), whose income is not in excess of 200% of poverty level. (other criteria can be considered for home visiting eligibility)

DOCUMENTS NEEDED:   None

RESTRICTIONS: Once found eligible, we serve children until they reach their 3rd birthday.
