SERVICE AREA:    Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Lawrence, Madison,

Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto and Warren Counties.

SERVICES:              Community and Business Programs:

Loans/grants are available to communities and non-profit organizations to fi­nance community facilities, equipment, projects and waste and water pro­jects. Loans are only available for Community Facilities Construction projects.

Rural Housing Loans:

Rural housing loans (direct) are available to very-low and low-income applicants. Payments are based upon income and may be subsidized. Houses must be modest in size and design.

Rural housing loans (guaranteed) are available to moderate income applicants. Loans are made by commercial lenders at prevailing interest rates, no down payment required.

Loans and limited Grants for home repairs in eligible areas.

 

ELIGIBILITY:         Community and Business Programs:

Varies according to program, community size, median household income of area being served and need.

Rural Housing Loans:

1.  Applicants can not exceed income limits. Income is based on total household income for each county and family size.

2.  Good credit history and sufficient repayment ability.

3.  Can not qualify for a conventional loan.
