At DCRC we speak the language of the Deaf/Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing Community (Deaf Community). DCRC aims to serve the needs of the deaf community through all phases of life, including birth through the end of life, by providing advocacy, day-to-day support, and education for both the deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and those who interact with them.
DCRC is committed to being a safe haven where services for deaf/deafblind and hard of hearing and their families are provided by deaf with hard of hearing and hearing allies. DCRC is committed to fostering an atmosphere where the Deaf Community can experience access to communication to further inclusion, opportunities, equality, and belonging with family, friends, coworkers, and the community.
