SERVICES:

Meals on Wheels of Piqua provides freshly prepared, nutritious meals directly to a client’s home from the kitchen of Koester Pavilion, a living care facility. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday only, including holidays that occur on weekdays. Meals are professionally prepared to accommodate a client’s dietary needs and restrictions as indicated by their healthcare provider (e.g., food allergies, Sodium restricted, Diabetic, etc.)

ELIGIBILITY:

Meals on Wheels of Piqua is in service to provide meals to persons unable to provide for themselves due to age, illness, or other inability. The service is available to Piqua area residents only. Clients will show need for the program during an interview process.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED: None. Client eligibility information is collected during a live interview. Client’s healthcare provider (physician/ physician’s office) information is required to confirm dietary recommendations.

RESTRICTIONS: Piqua area only.

HOW TO USE: Call; Interview conducted at prospective client’s residence.

FEE POLICY:

$10 per week. * [Five meals at $2.00 each in weekly increments.]

Payment is in advance, and collected at the time of the last meal delivery of the week.

Multiple-week payment or third-party payment can be accommodated.
