Services: Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) is a non-profit regional law firm that provides high quality legal assistance in civil matters to help eligible low-income individuals and groups in Ohio achieve self-reliance, equal justice, and economic opportunity.
ABLE provides services in several areas of law, including: Consumer and Economic Justice, Fairness in Education, Medical-Legal Partnership for Children, Healthcare and Economic Stability, Housing Justice and Community, Economic Development, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, Agricultural Worker and Immigrant Rights.
Eligibility: Based upon federal poverty guidelines and other special factors. All callers are screened for income eligibility before receiving services.

Fee Policy: There are no fees associated with receiving services, however a client may be responsible for their own court costs.
